Frost and Fire Greeting card
January is usually a very cold month here in Cochrane, Alberta and even though I'm not always thrilled to be out in that cold I do it anyway. January when it is so cold is often some of the most beautiful sunrises and the day I captured my reference photo for this was one of those. Snow on the ground, frost covering everything, mist rising off the Bow river and an absolutely amazing fiery sunrise highlighting it all. The cold was worth it.
This card is a print of my original artwork created in soft pastels on Pastelmat paper.
